  Recently I have opened up UF and MD3B  and I am having some luck with UF.  I have completed some challenges, which I should be posting soon.  I have actually when cleaning out my "unfinished pieces" folder.

  I miss you guys so much, and miss your art.  I think one of the biggest reasons I haven't made it back full time, is the amount of messages I have.  I do not want to just go through and delete everything, but it is so overwhelming when I log on to dA. 

  So many things have happened in the last 6 months or so. 

  In May, my son graduated from the Community College up the road, he is current doing his internship, and last night applied to go back to school to get his BS in Landscape Architecture starting this fall.  He will be using my Post 911 GI bill for this, since I haven't had the opportunity to use it at all.  I was really  nervous at first because he is not fresh out of high school, in fact he turned 23 last weekend, and I was thinking he would have to move, work and go to school full time so he could make this happen, we found out that the school is the same distance from the place he is currently doing his internship so he knows it is doable. 

  I have been traveling since January, I have been to and spent some time in the following places:  Biloxi, MS. Jackson, MS, Augusta, GA, Atlanta, GA, Lincoln, NH, Gordonsville, VA, Williamsburg, VA, and Chicago, IL.  Hopefully I can upload some pictures of my adventures. 

  I had mentioned a small romance that came along a couple journals ago.  One of the reason's I haven't been around.  The back story is an old flame found me on facebook.  When I say old, I mean from 32 years ago.  I was 17 and in high school in Germany.  My dad was stationed there in Stuttgart.  I met a guy who was in the Army, and 19 years old. Yeah, not the perfect relationship in my parents eyes.  My dad moved back to the states and we supposedly kept in touch for a while.  I don't remember much of this relationship, except for the hurt that was caused by him.  Yeah, it wasn't the best relationship, and I have thought about the guy on and off for years.  Our lives kind of mirrored each others over the years.  I was married in May 1991 and so was he.  I had my son 2 July 1994, and he had a daughter 7 July 1994.  We both spent our honeymoons in Dallas about 10 days apart.  Our paths criss crossed during the years, but we always missed each other.  Anyway, I took it as a complement, like a question that I never had the answer to.  He was married to his wife for 19 years before he became a widower.  I think was the main reason I went ahead and met him in real life.  It was this past January.  Well, it didn't work out all that well.  I enjoyed being with him, but he had some serious issues, I couldn't deal with.  I broke it off after the second trip he made here in April.  I blocked him from my phone and he had blocked me from facebook.  It hurt me alot, and I won't get into the issues and the drain he was bring into my life, but I made a decision, he was not for me.. He then got back into touch with me through facebook.  We are friends now, he keeps trying to win me back, whatever.  I realized that I had put too much on hold because of him. 

  So, I recently started signing in to dA and going through my notifications, and making some fractals.  I wanna come back, and will soon hopefully.  No pongs at this time, but when I am sure I am ready, I wanna be invited back to doing some features, helping poca2hontas, Annissina and Velvet--Glove.  I am true to my word, and when I say I am going to do something, I will do everything in my power to do it.  Sorry, if I have let you down in anyway.

  Just a quick note to say I am still alive and hanging around.  You might see a fav or two, or comment, and even a reply.  Thanks for still looking at my art, even in my absence.  I am hoping to get back into dA soon.  The summer isn't always the best time.  I made a couple fractals today, and bought a year membership...

  I am still working and gardening.  I finished my laundry room renovation awhile back, and thinking about other projects to start.

  My last journal was Jan 24, 2017, and it seems like forever ago.  I hope I can come back.  I need to get my mind off of somethings, and on to other things.  I need to concentrate on paying bills, and stop shopping....

  I am not back yet to join in any pongs or my groups, I don't want to say "hey, I am back" and then let people down because this isn't what seems to be missing in my life.

  So, for those who have noticed that I haven't been around for weeks, probably a whole month or two, there's a really long romantic story behind it.  I have also had some other things happen to me, that have taken a bunch of my time.  I miss you all so much, and I feel like crap when I realize that I was suppose to do a journal/feature this past weekend and forgot, even after giving my word that I would do it.  For this reason mostly I have to quit dA for a little while, I will keep the account and keep paying for my membership, because I plan to be back soon.

  I have had a pain in my mouth, probably a tooth pain for over a week now, and the dentist can see the huge lump in my gum under a molar, but it's not an abscess, the tooth looks great, no cavity, no gum or nerve damage.  It hurts, and I can't see the specialist until Thursday night, and I leave for vacation on Friday.

  Sorry, but I am going to have to pull out of dA for now, including pongs, and any features I am suppose to do.  Hopefully in a month or two I can get back into my art and post here!

So I am back and had a wonderful time!  The weather was hot but bearable.  The condo we stayed in was fabulous!  OMG, I could write a whole journal just on that place.  The food, and people were amazing.  I thought about moving down there, at least for the next four years.

  I am far behind in my messages (like over 2 thousand.) and I am working on the two pong pieces I owe.

  I came home to a broken dryer, so I had to dry my clothes at the laundromat.  Haven't done that in ages, but I forgot how fast you can get your clothes dry!

  My house and son are still standing even though just 5 to 20 miles away from here was flooded by Hurricane Mathew.  My co-workers had to spend the weekend in the hospital.  Glad it wasn't me.
